Voting Campaign for a Separate State of Vidarbha
Vidarbha, the most backward region of Maharashtra, has suffered neglect at the hands of successive governments of the state. As a result, the demand for a separate state of Vidarbha has been simmering for a long time. However, this demand was always brushed aside on the ground that it does not have popular backing. To find out the truth, Janmanch conducted a referendum on the issue under the able guidance of noted activist and journalist Shri Chandrakant Wankhade, in which the people of Nagpur participated with great enthusiasm.

Generics Medical Shop Opeining Ceremony
Owing to the high cost of branded medicines, many patients cannot afford to buy the medicines prescribed by medical practitioners. To overcome this difficulty, Janmanch started a Generic Medicine shop at Nagpur, inspired by Amir Khan’s popular TV show ‘Satyamev Jayate’. The shop happens to be the first exclusive generic medicine shop not only in Maharashtra but in the whole of Central India.
